For perfect watertightness – industrial building in Maniago, Friuli

Alugraf sheets have been used to re-roof an industrial building in Maniago, Friuli. In the Pordenone province, namely Maniago, a town renowned for making knives, we assisted the installation of Alugraf sheets on the roof of an industrial building. It was the chance to personally test their effectiveness, functionality and positioning simplicity.

On the Lido of the River Po, near Guastalla in the province of Reggio Emilia, by the antique boat bridge that is no more, you will find a building dating back to the start of the twentieth-century of a type very rarely found today in Italy or anywhere else in Europe: the Chalet. Witness of events linked to this great river, from the disastrous floods to the times of drought that reduced the Po to little more than a rivulet, from the war to the transformation of Italy into a modern country, this building was the “meeting-point” of all the youths of Guastalla for almost a century and today it has been completely renovated thanks to the structural requalification work and a new roof that greatly characterise the building.

Alugraf, the alternative to bituminous sheaths – Tecnogear worksite

The industrial building where Tecnogear has its headquarters in Corte Tegge di Cavriago in the province of Reggio Emilia, is not an historical building although it does have a long history as regards to the watertightness of its roof to bad weather conditions. Finding the flat shaped supporting structure of the roof was like an archaeological dig into seven different layers of bituminous sheaths which had been used in the past in an attempt to solve the waterproof issues of the roof.
