Interlocking securing method
By using the Alugraf system the roof requires no drilling or fastening systems with fixings,it can be applied on top of functional layers, such as heat or noise insulating materials and, although it is firmly anchored to the support, it can freely vary its dimensions under the influence of the changing temperatures creating no tension points caused by the differential movements. The system is secured firmly and stably with a cap, a separate upside down U connecting joint, made with a particular shape that is pressed into position above two adjacent front sheets; thus they are tightened together and against the row of check brackets without the need for on-site seaming.
Bracket function
The brackets are made in polyamide, a material chosen for its resistance to tearing stress and abrasion caused by the cyclic movement of the sheets due to thermal expansion. They are connected directly to the structural support with fixings arranged in rows, at a modular distance one from the other.
Interlocking system functionality
Thanks to its interlocking system and the stable connection guaranteed by caps, with Alugraf it is quick to disassemble and re-assemble the various components without ruining the sheets that have no fixing, meaning you can insert openings, skylights or through pipes at any time with the maximum of ease and without any hard or costly work on the roof.
